The ETSW electric cable winch is suitable for loads from 250 kg to 3,000 kg. Thanks to their modern design, the cable winches can be designed as pulling winches or lifting winches for almost any application, depending on the requirements profile.
It is therefore possible to supply modified versions of the cable winch in accordance with DGUV regulation 54 (formerly BGV D8+) or DGUV regulation 17 (formerly BGV C1) for use on platforms or, if required, to provide the electric winches for explosion-protected areas in an EX version.

Limit switch / end position switch-off:
The limit switch with protection class IP65, designed as a spindle limit switch, is installed on the drive side as an extension of the drum axis to save space. In the basic version, the limit switch is designed with 2 contacts as an emergency limit switch. In order to prevent the emergency limit switch from starting up during operation, the limit switch is optionally available with 4 contacts to enable it to start up during operation. All 4 contacts are adjustable to allow the greatest possible flexibility of use. If an optional overrunning clutch is required, the limit switch is mounted on the opposite side of the operator.
Frame:
The frame essentially consists of two side plates connected to each other by threaded rods, which provide the necessary stability and are used to hold the drum and to mount or suspend the cable winch on the respective surface. The side plates are designed to accommodate both the drive unit and various accessory options. The functions of your winch can therefore be expanded at a later date, e.g. by adding a freewheel clutch.
This short video shows a customized version of the ETSW with a load capacity of 250 kg. In our electric cable winches section, you can see an ETSW winch with a grooved cable drum and a load capacity of 3 t.
Drive:
The cable winches in the ETSW series are available in the standard version as electric cable winches with a three-phase brake motor with an operating voltage of 3 PH / 400V / 50 Hz and a spur gear. Thanks to its duty cycle of 60% and protection class IP55, the winch is suitable for almost uninterrupted use under the toughest conditions, even outdoors.
An ETSW winch with other operating voltages or drive types is available on request.
Winch drum:
The standard version of the ETSW cable winch is initially designed with a smooth drum body. On request or if there are technical requirements (e.g. reducing the distance to the first deflection), we can also supply the electric cable winch with a grooved cable drum. Due to the modular design, every ETSW winch can also be converted from a smooth to a grooved rope drum after completion. It is also possible to obtain optional stainless steel versions or cable winches with multiple cable outlets.
