Wartungshinweis bei Seilblockierung von SWF-Balancern

Please always follow the instructions in the supplied operating instructions before using the balancer.

If you still have difficulties with the cable pull-out, please check the following points:

  1. Is the manual drum lock in the “locked” position?
  2. Please turn to the “open” position. (Fig. 3 Operating instructions)
  3. Is the rope jammed between the housing and the pulley?
  4. Try to free the rope by pulling it back and forth. If the cable comes out, it must be checked for damage and replaced if necessary.
  5. If the rope does not come out, the balancer must be taken apart to put the rope back into the pulley grooves. (Point 5 of the operating instructions)
  6. Has the safety pin (Fig. 13 operating instructions) been triggered because the rope tension is set below the lowest load capacity of the balancer?
  7. It is very important to know the weight at which the balancer is used. A balancer should never be used outside the specified load range.
  8. Is the spring or spring assembly defective?
  9. If the previous steps have not solved the rope blockage, replacing the spring assembly may help.
